Scottish Government Debate: Safe, Secure and Prosperous: Achieving a Cyber-resilient Scotland

John Swinney S5M-05733 That the Parliament notes that the recent global cyber-attack demonstrates the urgency for everyone to secure their technology, data and networks from the many threats that are faced in the digital world; recognises the continuing and growing importance of cyber-resilience to Scotland’s safety, security and prosperity; resolves that citizens and organisations must be aware of the risks and be able to respond and recover quickly from any kind of cyber-attack if Scotland is to realise its full potential, and calls on leaders across all sectors in Scotland to consider their organisations' resilience to cyber-attacks and take action to ensure that they have plans in place to respond and recover quickly from cyber-incidents.
