Subordinate legislation: Fergus Ewing (Cabinet Secretary for Rural Economy and Connectivity) to move—S5M-02263—That the Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee recommends that the Crofting Commission (Elections) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2016 [draft] be approved. 3. Review of priorities for crofting law reform: The Committee will take evidence from— Fergus Ewing, Cabinet Secretary for the Rural Economy and Connectivity, and Michael O'Neill, Crofting Bill Team Leader, Scottish Government. 4. Draft Budget 2017-18: The Committee will take evidence on the Scottish Government's forthcoming Draft Budget 2017-18 from— Rodney Shearer, Managing Director-Alba Trees, Buccleuch Estates; Jon Hollingdale, Chief Executive, Community Woodlands Association; Stuart Goodall, Chief Executive, Confor; Willie McGhee, Coordinator, Forest Policy Group. 5. Tenant Farming Commissioner: The Committee will decide whether to appoint one of its members as a reporter to participate in meetings of the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee where the appointment of the Tenant Farming Commissioner will be considered.
