Public petitions: PE1490 Control of wild goose numbers: The Committee will consider a petition by Patrick Krause on behalf of the Scottish Crofting Federation, calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to address the control of wild goose numbers, taking evidence from— Rae McKenzie, Policy and Operations Manager, and Morag Milne, Wildlife Policy Officer, NatureScot. 2. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider the following negative instrument— Rural Support (Simplification and Improvement) (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 2022 3. UK subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the European Union Withdrawal Act 2018 in relation to the following UK statutory instrument proposal— Trade in Animals and Related Products (Amendment and Legislative Functions) Regulations 2022.
