1. Decisions on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 6 and 7 in private. 2. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986 Amendment Regulations 2016 [draft] from— Annabelle Ewing, Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs, Denise Swanson, Head of Access to Justice Unit, and Alastair Smith, Directorate for Legal Services, Scottish Government. 3. Subordinate legislation: Annabelle Ewing (Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs) to move— S5M-01596—That the Justice Committee recommends that the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986 Amendment Regulations 2016 [draft] be approved. 4. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider the following negative instruments— Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Framework) Order 2016 (SSI 2016/249); Civil Legal Aid (Scotland) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2016 (SSI 2016/257). 5. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider the following instruments which are not subject to any parliamentary procedure— Act of Sederunt (Simple Procedure) 2016 (SSI 2016/200); Act of Sederunt (Lay Representation for Non-Natural Persons) 2016 (SSI 2016/243). 6. Investigatory Powers Bill (UK Parliament legislation): The Committee will consider a draft report on legislative consent memorandum LCM-S5-2. 7. Work programme: The Committee will consider its work programme.
