Justice Committee

1. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Jurisdiction and Judgments (Family, Civil Partnership and Marriage (Same Sex Couples)) (EU Exit) (Scotland) (Amendment etc.) Regulations 2019 [draft] from— Ash Denham, Minister for Community Safety, Simon Stockwell, Civil Law Division, and Rosemary Lindsay, Directorate for Legal Services, Scottish Government. 2. Subordinate legislation: Ash Denham (Minister for Community Safety) to move— S5M-15920—That the Justice Committee recommends that the Jurisdiction and Judgments (Family, Civil Partnership and Marriage (Same Sex Couples)) (EU Exit) (Scotland) (Amendment etc.) Regulations 2019 [draft] be approved. 3. European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018: The Committee will consider a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the Act in relation to the following UK statutory instrument proposal— Immigration, Nationality and Asylum (EU Exit) Regulations 2019. 4. Post-legislative scrutiny of the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 (in private): The Committee will continue its consideration of a draft report.
