Justice Committee

1. Decisions on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 3 and 4 in private. The Committee will also decide whether draft Stage 1 reports on the Vulnerable Witnesses (Criminal Evidence) (Scotland) Bill and on the Management of Offenders (Scotland) Bill should be taken in private at future meetings. 2. Vulnerable Witnesses (Criminal Evidence) (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will take evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from— Humza Yousaf, Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Karen Auchincloss, Criminal Justice Division, Lesley Bagha, Criminal Justice Division, and Louise Miller, Directorate for Legal Services, Scottish Government. 3. Vulnerable Witnesses (Criminal Evidence) (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will review the evidence received on the Bill in order to inform the drafting of its Stage 1 report. 4. Management of Offenders (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will review the evidence received on the Bill in order to inform the drafting of its Stage 1 report.
