1. Declaration of interests: A Member will be invited to declare any relevant interests. 2. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 5 and 6 of this meeting in private. The Committee will also decide whether to take reviews of sectoral overview evidence in private at the meetings on 14, 21 and 28 September 2016. 3. Overview of Further and Higher Education: The Committee will take evidence from— Shona Struthers, Chief Executive, Colleges Scotland; Professor Andrea Nolan, Convener, Universities Scotland; Vonnie Sandlan, President, National Union of Students Scotland; John Kemp, Interim Chief Executive, Scottish Funding Council. 4. Overview of Skills: The Committee will take evidence from— Gordon McGuinness, Director of Industry and Enterprise Networks, Skills Development Scotland; Helen Martin, Assistant Secretary, Scottish Trades Union Congress; Gareth Williams, Head of Policy, Scottish Council for Development and Industry; Mark Smith, Head of Early Careers Strategy, Standard Life. 5. Review of Evidence: The Committee will discuss the evidence heard earlier in the meeting. 6. Approach to budget scrutiny: The Committee will consider its approach to budget scrutiny.
