1. Decision to take item in private: The Committee will decide whether to take agenda item 8 in private. 2. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Police Act 1997 and the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 Remedial Order 2018 [draft] from— Maree Todd MSP, Minister for Childcare and Early Years, Scottish Government; Lynne McMinn, Policy Manager, Disclosure Scotland; Ailsa Heine, Senior Principal Legal Officer, Scottish Government. 3. Subordinate legislation: Maree Todd (Minister for Childcare and Early Years to move— S5M-9985—That the Education and Skills Committee recommends that the Police Act 1997 and the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 Remedial Order 2018 [draft] be approved. 4. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2018 [draft] from— Maree Todd MSP, Minister for Childcare and Early Years, Scottish Government; Lynne McMinn, Policy Manager, Disclosure Scotland; Ailsa Heine, Senior Principal Legal Officer, Scottish Government. 5. Review of responses: The Committee will consider the responses to its School Infrastructure report. 8. Work programme: The Committee will consider its work programme. 9. Review of evidence (in private): The Committee will review the evidence it gathered on education reforms during its visit to Glasgow on 15th January.
