Education and Skills Committee

1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 3 and 4 in private. The Committee will also decide whether, at its next meeting, reviews of evidence from the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills on both the Draft Budget and on the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry should be taken in private. 2. The Role of Education Authorities: The Committee will take evidence from— Councillor Stephanie Primrose, Education, Children and Young People Spokesperson, and Jane O'Donnell, Chief Officer, COSLA; Councillor Jacqueline Henry, Chair of Children and Young People Thematic Board, and Peter Macleod, Director of Children's Services, Renfrewshire Council, Scottish Local Government Partnership. 3. Review of Evidence: The Committee will consider the evidence heard earlier in the meeting. 4. Work programme: The Committee will consider its work programme.
